LIFETIME COLLABORATION

The Key to Establishing a Memorable Theatre Identity

In 2020 we marked 30 years of working with the SNT Drama Ljubljana. Graphic design acts as a time capsule, reflecting the emotions and experiences of the cultural landscape. For Drama, this means capturing the theater's dedication to creating and celebrating outstanding theatrical art. The design not only informs the audience but also supports and preserves the theater's unique organizational culture.

The slogan "Drama is." served as a guiding principle for the communication elements of the 2020/21 season, capturing the essence of the Drama Theatre's identity as a vibrant dialogue between numerous creative voices. These voices include those of the artistic director and dramaturgy team, who curate the theatre's performances and artistic structure, the actors and directors, along with their creative collaborators, the marketing and public relations staff, designers, photographers, and more.

Goal

Distinctive visual language

The updated graphic identity for the 2020/21 season responded to the challenges we faced during and after the epidemic. It mirrored our internal states and the broader societal changes, reflecting on both collective and individual levels. This fresh design bridged the gap between the theater and the world beyond its walls.

Together, these individuals contribute to the development of a visually distinctive language that's both authentic and personal. The Drama Theatre's emblem is a treasured archetype and a testament to the 150-year-old story of Slovenia's oldest theatre, continuously present in the past and looking toward the future. Even when it comes to the visual identity of Drama Theatre, the focus remains on the harmonious blend of creative expression.
