Conclusion
The SEM is a museum dedicated to people, both their stories and the stories of the objects that connect to their past and present lives. Through its 100 years of operation, the museum has collected around 40,000 objects representing Slovene and non-European cultural heritage, offering insights into life from the 17th century to the present day. Most of these objects originate from the 19th and 20th centuries.
The graphic identity of The First 100 is deeply intertwined with the concept of time's relativity and contextuality. The new logo serves as a symbol of time's infinity, encapsulated within the loop of its own movement. The design system emphasizes versatility and adaptability. The color system, derived from the primary chromatic scale, is showcased through 100 carefully selected objects. When combined with the chosen font—a bold, modern typeface with organic undertones—the design elements ensure maximum flexibility and compatibility across various graphics at exhibitions, digital media, and other applications.
